About Me

I am Berk Yagli, 19 years old, studying Music and Sound Technology at the University of Portsmouth, UK.

I am a Cypriot, having friendly warm blood as many Mediterranean have. I love long Sunday sunny nature walks, having fun with my friends and family.

Music has always been significantly important in my life since my childhood as a curious listener, passionate performer and keen composer.

I have 6 years of experience for playing lead guitar and singing on many concerts - the most for charity - of a local rock band called “Simologrus” in Cyprus.

I have two recorded hard rock songs, composed, played and singed by me. I am continuously experimenting new musical approaches and techniques to improve my composing skills.

I have a keen interest not only on Music but also on Sound. In this program, I had a chance to improve my hardworking, creativity, interpersonal, leadership and problem solving skills in team projects.
